Economic Framework

The AIGEN token is imbued with significant utility across various network functions. Furthermore, Aigen’s crypto economic framework facilitates a system where token holders are rewarded for contributions that drive forward the progression of AiGen and the broader field of artificial intelligence.

Components of AiGen's Tokenomics

1. Platform Layer

  • Function: Serves as the base infrastructure offering various AI models.

  • Costs: Fixed costs associated with accessing and utilizing models are borne by the consumer, ensuring the sustainability of platform operations.

2. Controller Layer

  • Development: Developers create application-specific controllers that operate on top of this layer.

  • Usage and Earnings: Usage of the controller layer is proportional to the tokens spent on the platform layer. Developers earn revenue based on the utilization of their controllers, calculated as the product of the controller’s score and its usage frequency.

3. Score Layer

  • Operation: Managed by validators who assess the performance of various controllers developed by developers across multiple parameters.

  • Functionality: Validators assign scores that are used system-wide to determine the effectiveness and thus the compensation related to each controller.

Economic Model

  • Token Flow: Tokens used within the platform layer directly influence the earnings in the controller layer, linking the consumption of resources to the reward system.

  • Scoring Influence: The scoring system adjusts the developer payout; a lower score due to poor performance or lower utility results in significantly reduced payouts, incentivizing high-quality and useful contributions.

Incentives and Rewards

  • Developer Incentives: Developers are incentivized to improve and maintain the quality of their controllers to maximize their earnings.

  • Validator Role and Rewards: Validators play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and quality of the AiGen ecosystem by providing unbiased performance evaluations. Their compensation is tied to their accuracy and the impact of their scoring on the ecosystem.

Developers building applications will have the option to use AIGEN directly within their ecosystem, allowing their users to pay for using their applications with AIGEN. The token will be used by developers or their users to access AI models and datasets, with fees distributed to model and data providers hence rewarding their contributions.
